Simple Green Smoothie

It IS easy being green! According to a recent study, being surrounded by the color green can cause our brains to kickstart our imaginations and make us more inventive, which could certainly explain why so many of us take inspiration from nature.

After trying these delicious meal-replacement smoothies, green will quickly become your favorite color, too!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups spinach, fresh (tightly packed)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 cup frozen peach chunks
  • Juice of one half medium lemon
  • 2 Tbsp agave nectar

DIRECTIONS

  1. Add spinach to blender. Add water and blend together for 1-2 minutes or until smooth and all leafy chunks are gone.
  2. Add in mango, pineapple, peaches, lemon juice and agave nectar. Blend until smooth.
